RTFKT’s Nike Air Force 1 Forging event officially ended on May 10th. After the Forge closed, the brand tweeted out information about the next phase of the project, saying, “All Cryptokicks iRL sneakers will begin shipping this August.” According to the brand, between May 15th and May 29th, all owners of hubbed Cryptokicks iRL sneakers will be able to enter a US shipping address on rtfkt.com to complete the Forging process. During this time, no one can buy, sell, transfer, or swap Cryptokicks iRL hubbed NFTs because the smart contract will be locked on May 15th at 11 am PST to ensure no one buys a pair of claimed sneakers. One hour later, the unhubbing process will begin. RTFKT will update the metadata on all unhubbed NFTs from “hubbed” to “forged” after May 29th. Holders must “unhub” their sneakers during this period, or their sneakers can’t be shipped. Those who already Forged and did not hub sneakers don’t need to do anything
